Education:
I have an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and my law degree from Temple University School of Law, with honors.
Publications, Teaching and Lecturing:
I have authored two books, published by the largest legal publisher in the U.S., on Civil Litigation in the Federal Courts and on Estates and Trusts.
For five years, while conducting my regular practice, I taught a special course on federal litigation for the U. S. Department of Justice. For ten years while also in practice, I taught courses on litigation skills, contracts, legal research and estates and trusts at the Institute for Paralegal Training in Philadelphia.
I have given seminars and lectures on various litigation topics, including employment discrimination, for the Pennsylvania Trial lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the National Association of Securities Dealers, the University of Pennsylvania and the Huntington Disease Foundation.
Bar Admissions:
I am admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of the United States and U. S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Relevant Legal Activities:
I am a Judge Pro Tem for the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia. I am a member of the Plaintiff’s Employment Panel of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and the Senior Law Center. I have served as an arbitrator for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Courts of Common Pleas of Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties. I have also served as an arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers and the Financial Industry Regulatory Agency.
